This Feature Needs Your Help
We have been fortunate at MBM in that we do not know any officials who have passed away within the last couple of years. As such, we did not have anything to personally share in our first In Memoriam article.
In order to make this kind of feature work, crowdsourcing is essential. It is not practical (or even possible, really) to track recent deaths outside of one’s own local geographic area other than through word of mouth. Therefore, we need you to help keep us informed by sending us news of any recent deaths within the folkstyle wrestling officiating community. Any photos of the deceased, and especially any action photos of them officiating, are very much encouraged. We want to be able to provide the most fitting tributes possible, and photos do make a world of difference. As do stories, eulogies, etc. Please share them with us so that we can share your words with the community.
Also, if you wish to share something with the community as a dedication to the memory of another wrestling official, it would be our privilege to publish those here as well.1It does not have to be a recent passing; there is no timing limitation in this regard. Please feel free to reach out to us if you are interested.
